Make your own social media map!

Esri’s social media map app is a free, easily customized tool for teachers to empower students to visualize trends and understand the world. A Twitter post by Esri Tech Evangelist Bern Szukalski, included a link to directions to make your own. Using these directions I made a social media map with a Twitter layer. I could also have made a map with layers from YouTube, Flickr and Instagram. My map shows Twitter posts filtered by the word “Blizzard”.
